3D Saint Patrick's Day Pot of Gold Cookie

This 3D cookie design was inspired by my love for the beauty and simplicity of Belleek china. Handcrafted in Ireland for the last 156 years, Classic Belleek pottery, the oldest craft pottery in Ireland, is known and loved by millions throughout the world.

Each piece of this fine china, is a truly original piece of Irish Craftsmanship, made using materials and techniques handed down through generations. No two pieces are ever the same. Every handle, flower and brush stroke is skillfully applied by hand to create the look and feel that is uniquely Irish Belleek.

Using a basic gingerbread cookie recipe.

Each cookie is decorated with royal icing and fondant.

Lace piping detail is added to the lid of the jar.

Each individual shamrock leaf is added and then painted.
